Commissions

Darcy will consider work on commission to create art tailored to certain spaces or to scale some of her pieces to correctly fit a need. To inquire about a custom piece, please reach out to begin a conversation about form and timeline. Including images of the piece/s you are interested in is useful to begin a dialogue. She will advise the estimated time frame to complete art work and pricing during discussions. There are no up charges or special fees for commissions. All requests are encouraged and each request is reviewed and considered based upon availability, materials and timeframe.

Please note, creating a hand-built clay work is a lengthy process and each requires a unique assembly. Building them requires much time, focus and patience. Once the building phase is complete it goes through a careful slow-drying phase until they are ready to be fired. Depending on the clay work, the piece has additional phases such as glazing, painting, dip dyeing and or firing for a second time. Please note ceramic requests are limited at this time.
