DBL Works is a varying collection of hand made paintings, drawings, hangings, ceramic art and decor by Darcy Lamstein.

Darcy is an artist and designer who enjoys a wide variety of artistic disciplines such as ceramics, painting, architecture, illustration and craft production. This variety is apparent in the breadth of her work as she utilizes a myriad of mediums and texture techniques, drawing inspiration from nature and organic forms. With a lifelong focus on design, art, styling, and illustration, Darcy studied at the University of Wisconsin and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York followed by a fifteen-year career as a fashion designer. 

In 2015, her interests evolved from fashion to a passion for art, interior design and home styling. During this time in New York City, Darcy lead the redesign, renovation, styling and art design for multiple residences. She also designed and installed large 3D artworks, including at the Line Hotel, Washington DC.

With DBL Works, Darcy extended her experience as an designer with the creation of handmade fine art and timeless artwork. The works are intended to stand on their own as sculptural objects, art or wall hangings. DBL Works is based in the Chicago land area.
